With this urban landscape made up of jumbles and tottering piles, Gaël Maski depicts the chaos of the onward march of urbanisation in Kinshasa. The heap of written-off yellow minibuses reflects the congested road network and infrastructure failure. In this environment, people do their best to survive thanks to their mental strength, symbolised by the brain.
