Three generations of a family, and in the background the peaceful and powerful Congo River, a symbol of unchanging nature. Old équilibre – the use of two languages evokes African colonisation, calls to mind the predominance of old equilibriums in African society, based on intergenerational transmission, in which women play a pivotal role.
