Just like in the other artworks in the "Psycho corona" series, Maski includes symbols of hope and strength in the face of the combined challenge of poverty and the COVID-19 pandemic in Big man. A bottle of hand sanitizer seems to emerge from a bed of diamonds in the foreground. Maski extends this symbol of purification to the human mind: for the residents of poor neighbourhoods, the ability to empty their minds of the stress caused by their social circumstances is as valuable as an uncut diamond.
