Known for his aesthetic of deconstruction and chaos, Bandoma critiques the ways in which globalization erodes African cultural heritage.
This exhibition brings together works produced from 2012 to 2026, exploring his signature subjects: the grotesque manifestations of power; the hybridity of ‘acculturated’ figures caught in the trap of dominant culture; and the issue of colonialism/decolonization.
