From October 17 to December 23, 2026, Angalia presents “The Future Is Not Ours to See”, a retrospective marking the ten-year career of photographer Gosette Lubondo. The exhibition unveils a selection of works from the seven series produced between 2016 and 2026. At the crossroads of collective memory and embodied fiction, her poetic compositions breathe new life into abandoned places bearing the traces of interrupted histories and unfulfilled political promises.
The artist will be present at the opening on 17 October, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
