Fancy going on a journey? Step into the world of Gosette Lubondo, who is inviting you to follow her in her daydream-like state, in her meanderings through time and space. This is Lubondo’s first catalogue and it enables readers to immerse themselves in the series produced between 2013 and 2019, specifically the two successful series Imaginary Trip and Imaginary Trip II. Three illuminating articles will help readers discover her work.

The publication was intended to be the catalogue for her first large solo exhibition in Kinshasa. The exhibition was scheduled to open on 27 March 2020 at the Texaf-Bilembo Cultural Centre. The publication of the catalogue will help pass the time until the exhibition can be held; this is of course dependent on the Covid crisis.

The financial support provided by Texaf-Bilembo, Angalia and Axis Gallery made it possible for Les éditions de l’oeil to publish this catalogue.
