Inspired by an Yves Sambu photograph (2012, "Vanité apparente" series), Kura Shomali depicts a character who embodies the figure of a man intoxicated by power. It is unclear exactly who this person is, and neither do we know what gives him the moral authority that he asserts, but his self-importance reminds us of all types of abuses of power.
