Drawing inspiration from a Santu Mokofeng shot, this man “dances, slides and surfs, and sits on thin air”, in the words of Kura Shomali. This is a metaphorical work: the subject (the youth of Kinshasa) is walking a tightrope, caught between balancing and falling (sansale means “I’m slipping”).
