Four years after Boma Ngonga and Kolo sap, Amani Bodo has returned to an area in which he shines by portraying an ultra-contemporary sapeur – wearing a face mask because of Covid – vying with a Eurasian hoopoe. The turquoise background is a new addition to his palette.
