The gallery has just launched an innovative fund to support the emergence of young Congolese artists. Ébalé is a company formed under French law and has nine partners. It purchases the works of young artists that the gallery has spotted and supports. After a dormant period of a few years, the artworks will be put on sale in such conditions as to ensure a return on the capital invested. In this way, Ébalé provides practical support to artists at the start of their careers, while decisively supporting the gallery’s work.
