We are delighted and proud to welcome Gaël Maski, our top choice at the start of 2019. Born in Kalemie in 1990, Maski grew up in Kinshasa, where he lives and works. Maski creates photo collages on wood or canvas and these works blend the real and the imaginary. He takes photos of social reality and then deconstructs his own snapshots and recomposes a new reality, the projection of a dreamlike world. A unique universe, an already strong artistic hallmark, and very promising to boot!
